St Thomas Methodist Church

‘Help carry one another’s burdens... do good to everyone.’

Galatians 6:2,10

At St. Thomas Methodist Church you will find many ways to become involved in mission and outreach. We encourage all our members to actively express their faith through good works, especially towards the most vulnerable in our communities.

Alpha Under a Tree

Our mission is to obey the Great Commission — to make disciples and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that promotes unity and healing.

This ministry brings communities together in a uniquely South African context, creating space for learning, discussion, and relationship-building.

Sessions include teaching, shared meals, and community discussion, helping participants grow in both understanding and personal faith.

Feeding Schemes

We partner with local feeding programmes and soup kitchens to support those in need.

Through e’Pap feeding initiatives, we help provide daily nutrition to hundreds of children across the Bitou region.

Justice for Girls

We support young women by ensuring access to essential sanitary products, helping remove barriers to education caused by poverty.

Donations can be made at church or during the week at the office.

Red Frogs

We partner with Red Frog Volunteers to support Matric students during their celebrations.

The team provides practical help and emotional support, creating a safe and caring presence.
